Great to see what goes into the whole process. What is the fabric tube?
eeps! jake! i absolutely *loved* watching this!!
the final photographs were, as per usual, impeccable! this video in itself was constructed so well that i even brought my mother over to watch it and she was equally as impressed. (that takes a lot as she herself used to model and knows the endeavours of a present-day photographer).
i love watching the beginning-to-end and both the fun and hard work that goes into it. this shoot was SO creative and recultivated my passion for body art and extreme make-up application as well as photography. you’re opening my eyes again jake,
and your work — fantabulous. many applause all around!
@Mike Roberts – It’s just a nylon sleeve basically, purchased at a dance supply store by the wardrobe stylist.
jake these are AMAZING! i love the idea
and the nylon over them is just brilliant.
i want to do a shoot with tyedye body paint one day.. its marvelous
i am in love with this series
yay jake!
The hair & bodypaint work so well together. The photos look gorgeous. Curious as to how you came up with the title for this collection?
@Sterling Okura Steven Robertson (the hairstylist) came up with the name, inspired by the name of the planet in Avatar I do believe.
Correcto Jake!! Name was inspired by the false planet of Pandora, which I dream of living on. I feel like they look like avatars
which I also dream of being.
I heart u! Amazing work!
you and your teams always do incredible work and this video was truly inspiring. I really hope I get to do you job one day Jake!
Awesome.
Insanely cool! Video rocked!
